Generic jobs are recorded as items that are connected to people using the employed as (P105) property.
Before creating a new job/role item, check for pages that link to Item:Q667 "Job" and if the proposed new job item is sufficiently generic.

Wikidata ID (P117) > free text identifer for the job
With qualifier:
- described at URL (P14) > full url to Wikidata identifer for the job, e.g. https://www.wikidata.org/wiki/Q3400985
