Current Description
We consider the data extracted from records to be partially recorded when some in-scope information in that record – information relating to women’s work in archaeology, history, and heritage circa 1870 to 1950 – has been recorded.
This occurs for a number of reasons, including a) the source material is to large to record all information, b) the source was used ad hoc to improve information in the knowledge base, c) we decided to only record details of women already recorded from other sources (e.g. as of July 2023, we will only record information on women in the Royal Historical Society Fellows Roll if they already appear in the records of in-scope records of the Society of Antiquaries of London, the Royal Archaeological Institute, or the Congress of Archaeological Socities.
