Beyond Notability: Job or Role
Generic jobs or roles are recorded as items that are connected to people using the position held (P17) property.
Before creating a new job/role item, check Pages that link to "Item:Q151" (occupation (Q151) and if the proposed new job/role item is sufficiently generic: position held (free text) (P48) can always be used as a qualifier alongside position held (P17) if a specific job or role title needs to be recorded.
