In his book Notes on the Folk-Lore of the Northern Counties of England and the Borders (1879), William Henderson acknowledged Latham for giving him access to her work on West Sussex superstitions "some time" before it was published in the Folklore Society's journal, and for supplying information about Sussex charms.
