Two brown-coloured fragments from a supposedly stone object found by a labourer in a sand-pit near Worden [Hall]. (English)
As a land-owner ("lady of the manor") ffarington was involved in the recovery of 65 Roman coins from a hoard of 200 found in an earthernware jar, discovered by labourers digging clay for a tile works company at Ulnes Walton. The labourers shared the hoard between them. (English)
