Charles Hercules Read acknowledged Chenevix Trench for "liberality" in giving artefacts from a hoard found at Shoebury and Wakering, Essex, originally given to her by Philip Benton. The hoard was displayed at the Society of Antiquaries in 1892 before being given to Augustus Franks for the British Museum. (English)
