Celtic bowl, iron sword and knife, from a grave found at Borlaston (English)
Wedgwood was listed as one of 3 people loaning examples of Roman and Celtic bowls as exhibits to accompany Romilly Allen's paper on the topic, given at the Society of Antiquaries. Wedgwood was the only woman listed as an exhibitor for this part of the meeting. (English)
Wedgwood was noted as having arranged for an iron railing to be built around the grave to protect it. Her narrative of the discovery of the grave in 1851 was given in J. Romilly Allen's article in Archaeologia LVI. (English)
